Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to the UnifiedBot Discord bot, the UnifiedBot dashboard, and the UnifiedBot website. It explains what data is collected, why it is processed, how long it is kept, and how you can request access or deletion.

Controller

Who operates UnifiedBot

UnifiedBot is operated by Dyhr as an independent developer. References to "UnifiedBot," "I," "me," or "my" in this policy mean the individual operator of the service. UnifiedBot is a third-party service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Discord.

Scope

What this policy covers

This policy covers data processed through the bot, the dashboard sign-in flow, and the public website. It does not replace Discord's own terms, privacy policy, community guidelines, or developer policies, which continue to apply when you use Discord.

Contact

Privacy and support requests

Privacy requests, support issues, and reports of misuse can be sent to supportunifiedbot@gmail.com or through the UnifiedBot support server. I may ask for reasonable verification before disclosing, exporting, or deleting data connected to a guild.

Legal basis

Why data is processed

Data is processed to operate requested bot features, authenticate dashboard users, keep the service secure, investigate abuse or support issues, and comply with legal obligations. Data is not collected for resale, data brokerage, or unrelated advertising purposes.

Categories of data collected

Discord account and profile data

UnifiedBot may store Discord user IDs and limited profile fields made available through Discord, such as usernames, global names, avatar hashes, and discriminator values where provided by Discord.

Guild and configuration data

This includes server IDs, channel IDs, role IDs, module settings, feature toggles, ticket settings, automation preferences, and similar configuration data required to provide the bot's stated functionality.

Operational logs and support records

UnifiedBot may record moderation actions, audit events, error logs, and support-related events needed to maintain service integrity, investigate misuse, or resolve technical problems.

Ticket transcripts and message content when enabled

If a feature specifically requires message content or ticket transcript storage, that content is processed only for that feature. UnifiedBot does not use Discord message content for unrelated profiling, resale, or AI model training.

Dashboard authentication data

When you sign in to the dashboard through Discord OAuth, the dashboard processes OAuth tokens, your Discord user identity, and the list of guilds and permissions needed to determine which guilds you may manage.

Website and session data

The website may process request metadata such as IP address, browser or user-agent details, referrer information, and a session cookie required for dashboard authentication. The site does not use advertising pixels or sell browsing data.

How data is used

  • To provide bot commands, moderation tools, ticketing, logging, and dashboard management features.
  • To verify dashboard sessions and determine which guilds a signed-in user may access.
  • To maintain security, detect abuse, respond to user reports, and troubleshoot incidents.
  • To comply with legal obligations or valid enforcement requests where disclosure is required by law.

What UnifiedBot does not do

  • UnifiedBot does not sell, license, or disclose Discord API data to data brokers, ad networks, or similar monetization services.
  • UnifiedBot does not use Discord API data for unrelated profiling, employment, housing, insurance, or similar eligibility decisions.
  • UnifiedBot does not scrape Discord, request Discord passwords, or attempt to bypass Discord privacy, safety, or security controls.
  • UnifiedBot does not use Discord message content to train machine learning or AI models.

Sharing and disclosure

  • Data may be shared with hosting, infrastructure, or technical service providers acting on UnifiedBot's behalf and only as needed to operate the service.
  • Data may be disclosed when required by applicable law, regulation, court order, or other valid legal process.
  • Data may be shared when a user directly instructs or authorizes a feature that requires that disclosure.
  • Data is not shared in a way that is inconsistent with this policy or Discord's developer terms and policies.

Retention, deletion, and security

  • Data is retained only as long as reasonably necessary for the feature, operational need, or legal obligation for which it was collected.
  • Dashboard OAuth session data is stored in the session for sign-in purposes and the current dashboard session is configured to expire after up to 8 hours unless it ends sooner through logout or invalidation.
  • Users may request correction or deletion of their data by emailing the address listed on this page. Requests may be refused or limited where retention is required by law, security, or legitimate service integrity needs.
  • UnifiedBot uses commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect data from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or disclosure.

Your choices and reports

You can stop most server-level data processing by removing UnifiedBot from a guild and stopping use of the dashboard. You can also request access, correction, deletion, or report misuse by emailing supportunifiedbot@gmail.com or through the UnifiedBot support server.

This policy may be updated from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of the page.
